Please do what you can to help this cause.

One way is to support Nina this weekend -
Please come by Fiesta Hermosa this weekend (Sat, Sun, Mon 10-6) to get tested for Nina! The A3M booth will be in front of Javaman. Only takes a few minutes to swab your cheek and it could save a life! Please spread the word. A number of Nina's friends will be running the booth (Nina will be back in the hospital); thank you!

I made some double chocolate and pecan brownie cookies to bring along when I help out at the booth. Here is recipe (another gf recipe):
1 package Trader Joe's Gluten Free brownie mix
1 egg
1/4 c. oil
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp arrowroot powder or xanthan gum
4 tbsp water
1/2 c gluten free chocolate chips
1/3 c chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2 baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine brownie mix, arrowroot powder and baking soda in medium bowl. In another small bowl mix wet items - combine egg, oil, and water and mix well. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Use small ice cream scoop to make small uniform rounds.
Bake 10-12 min - I find that it help for these to be a lil under cooked since they come out a bit dense and dry otherwise. The top of the cookies should just start to crack. Cool for 15 min.
Enjoy!
And again, please help however you can!!!
