Some new traditions were started this year.
1) A Thankful Tree - took a manzita branch and each day added a leaf that we wrote down what we are thankful for. See previous post.
Momma & Ilana
2) A Thankful Book - Started a little book that on Thanksgiving we each write down what we are thankful for and then add in pictures from the holiday.

Time to dig in! Menu - traditional roasted turkey, bnut and sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberry, green beans, sauteed mushrooms and gravy (I am full just thinking about it again). And let us not forget desert - apple crisp and pumpkin ice cream.
For this recent vegan - yes I took a lil break and enjoyed all the wonderful food. It was a great day with the family and all that we are thankful for!
