We now have a new fav pumpkin patch - Pa's in Long Beach. We loved everything about it from the do-able size - could see and do everything in a contained place. Everything from mini roller coaster, to tall slides to go up and down again and again, petting zoo. And what day out with Grandma Judy would not be complete without a hot dog and lemonade? 
So what do you do when home sick in mid Oct? Work on Halloween projects of course. My son loves to create but also loves recreating the great ideas we see on Pinterest and then turn them into our own. 
We also enjoyed a long standing tradition of my Mom's Halloween luncheon. This year's theme was glamorous. We got a kick our of dressing up and hanging out with all those ladies that were too cool to spook.
