Fake Out Desserts

Here are two new desserts to try when you have a sweet tooth but don't want all the sugar. Truly a great alternative treat. 
Chai seed pudding
1/4 c. chai seeds

1 c. coconut milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 c. agave
1/2 tsp vanilla - could try cocoa powder or another flavor extract to change it up.
Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix together. Put in refrigerator for 3 hrs to firm up.




Chocolate avocado mousse

4 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
1/2 c. agave
1/3 c. unsweetened almond milk
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 c. dark chocolate chips I used vegan ones by Lilly (Whole Foods)
Melt the chocolate in a bowl in the microwave start with 30 seconds until melted or put in a double boiler until melted.
Put the chocolate, avocado, agave, almond milk, cocoa powder, vanilla & salt in food processor and blend until smooth.
Put into refrigerator to chill for 2-3 hours or make 1 day ahead. Serve in bowls or glasses with berries.
My son loved both...all the more reason to try them.
