Keeping it Sweet

Are you a savory or sweet fanged person? Well I know the answer may vary for some folks. There was a time that for me it just HAD to be sweet, chocolate of course, but now sweet can be a tasty fruit.


Recently it was about something savory out of absolute need for my son's lunch box. We were completely out of our usual fav hummus - Trader Joes eggplant or Mediterranean one. So I needed to make sure he had a lil dip for his veggies at camp.
Here is my sweet red pepper hummus
Ingredients:
1- 15oz can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
2 red pepper from Trader Joes marinated pepper jar - the bigger the better
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. tahini
1 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp. liquid from marinated peppers jar

Blend all together in food processor until smooth
