The tie in is that beets are highly nutritious “cardiovascular health” friendly root vegetables....hearts...Valentine's Day...c'mon eat your reds....
Ingredients:
3 medium beets - I used the Trader Joes ones in the vacuum pack
1 Persian cucumber
1 1/2 celery stalks
1 medium apple
1 1/2 carrots
1 big bunch spinach leaves
2 in piece of ginger
1/2 small lemon juiced

Cut up all the veggies and fruit a bit so easier to blend well.
Put all together in blender and blend until fairly smooth. That lil kick of ginger spice is tasty but also known to help stomach issues, inflammation to name a few.
