This easy berry chia seed jam recipe is made with defrosted mixed berries, no cooking required! Ingredients:
2 cups frozen berries, defrosted
1/4 c. chai seeds
3 tablespoons orange juice (medium orange, juiced)
3 tablespoons agave, to taste
Put all ingredients into food processor. Good to let the chia seeds get a bit plumped up, so let the mixture rest for about 20 minutes to let them absorb some moisture. When ready pulse a few times, you still want some chunky pieces, I like that texture. Taste it to see the sweetness. Use on waffles, bagels, with yogurt and granola. Store in covered container in the refrigerator, for about 1 week.
