I've been feeling a bit off lately. Maybe it's all hormonal or stress throwing me off. Good time to reset my body. I do eat very clean so decided to try something new to see how my body responds to a detox.
Ingredients:
2 c. spinach - frozen or fresh works
1 apple
1 lemon juiced
4 celery stalks
1 Persian cucumber
2 inches of fresh ginger
6-8oz water
Blend all in blender until smooth. Makes about 2 - 16oz juices.
The celery, lemon and ginger come through making it easy to consume. I felt clean, energized and better overall at the end.

For three days I drank green juice (primarily vegetable juice) all day long, alternating with electrolyte water. I added collagen to ensure I'm getting enough protein and stay grounded. I end up having about #4 16 oz juices/day, but you should do what feels comfortable to you. Then for dinner, I eat a bit of protein (red meat is easier on the liver than poultry...) and some healthy fat (usually in the form of avocado). I make certain everything, from the juice to the small dinner is organic and high quality.
After 3 days, i very slowly work back up to a normal amount of solid foods. I tend to keep the green juices (always with collagen) in play for a few weeks, mixed in among super super clean meals.
